HiLibre Coins Program Terms

1. DEFINITIONS

• “Coins” or “HiLibre Coins” means promotional store credit issued by HiLibre and recorded on your Account. Coins are denominated in US dollars for accounting purposes only: 1 Coin corresponds to a checkout discount of USD 1.00 when applied in accordance with these Program Terms.
• “Account” means a registered (signed-in) HiLibre account as described in the Terms of Service.
• “Balance” means the net sum of all Coin credits and debits recorded on your Account, as shown in the HiLibre website or app.
• “Eligible Order” means a purchase of an eSIM Data Plan or top-up made through the HiLibre website or apps that is priced in US dollars.

2. NATURE OF COINS

Coins are a promotional benefit granted at HiLibre’s discretion. Coins:

• have no cash or monetary value and are not money, a deposit, electronic money, a stored-value product, a security, or property of any kind;
• cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or refunded for cash or any other form of payment;
• cannot be sold, transferred, assigned, gifted, pooled, or inherited, and may not be moved between Accounts;
• do not accrue interest;
• may only be used as a partial discount on Eligible Orders as described in Section 5.

The Balance displayed on your Account is a record of promotional credit only and does not represent any debt owed by HiLibre to you.

3. ELIGIBILITY

• You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and hold an Account in good standing.
• Coins can only be viewed and spent from a registered Account. Purchases made before signing in are associated with your Account when you sign in on the same device or browser; Coins attach to the Account, not to a device, browser, or eSIM.
• Only one Account per person may participate in the Program. Creating or using multiple Accounts to earn Coins is prohibited.
• HiLibre employees, contractors, affiliates, and their household members may be excluded from some or all Program benefits.
• HiLibre may require proof of identity or eligibility before granting, releasing, or honouring any Coins.
• The Program may be unavailable in certain countries, channels, or payment currencies.

4. HOW COINS ARE EARNED

HiLibre may offer Coins for the actions described below. Every offer is made at HiLibre’s sole discretion; amounts, conditions, and availability may differ by country, channel, campaign, or time period, and may be changed or withdrawn without notice. Coins are credited only after HiLibre has confirmed that all conditions of the relevant offer have been met, and any single qualifying action earns Coins at most once per Account unless the offer expressly states otherwise.

4.1 Referrals

• Each Account is assigned a personal referral code and link. When a person you refer (a “Friend”) uses your code or link and completes their first paid eSIM purchase, you may receive the referral reward shown in your Account at that time (currently 30 Coins), and your Friend may receive a discount on that first purchase (currently 15%).
• A Friend qualifies only for their first paid purchase. A person who has previously made a paid purchase with HiLibre, including a purchase that was later refunded, is not a new customer and does not qualify.
• The referral discount is not combined with other discounts, promo codes, or offers; where more than one discount could apply, only the higher single discount is applied.
• Referral rewards are capped: an Account may earn a lifetime maximum of 1,000 Coins from referrals. HiLibre may lower this cap or introduce additional time-based caps.
• The following are prohibited and will not be rewarded: referring yourself or an Account you control; purchasing through your own code; sharing codes through paid advertising, coupon or deal sites, bulk or unsolicited messaging, or any misleading means; and any arrangement in which you pay, incentivise, or are paid by a Friend to complete a purchase.
• HiLibre may verify any referral and may withhold, delay, or reverse a referral reward where it suspects that these conditions have not been met.

4.2 Other actions

HiLibre may from time to time offer Coins for other actions, for example promotional campaigns, vouchers, or goodwill credits issued by our Support team. Any such offer is subject to its own stated conditions in addition to these Program Terms, is granted at most once per Account unless stated otherwise, and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn by HiLibre at any time without notice. No action other than those HiLibre expressly announces earns Coins.

5. SPENDING COINS

• Coins may be applied only at checkout for Eligible Orders on the HiLibre website or apps, while signed in to the Account that holds the Balance.
• Coins may cover at most fifty percent (50%) of the price of any single order, rounded down to the nearest whole cent. The remainder must be paid with an accepted payment method, and a minimum card payment of USD 0.50 always remains payable.
• Coins cannot be applied to orders priced in currencies other than US dollars, to taxes or fees where applicable, or retroactively to orders already placed.
• Coins are deducted from your Balance when the order is placed. If the payment fails or the checkout is abandoned, the Coins are returned to your Balance.
• Coins spent on an order are not converted into cash in any circumstance, including on refund (see Section 6).
• HiLibre may limit the number of orders per period to which Coins may be applied, or exclude specific products or promotions from Coin redemption.

6. REFUNDS, REVERSALS AND CLAWBACK

• If an order paid partly with Coins is refunded under our Refund Policy, the amount paid by card is refunded to the original payment method and the Coins portion is returned to your Balance as Coins. Coins are never refunded as cash.
• If a Friend’s qualifying purchase is refunded, charged back, cancelled, or found to be fraudulent, the referral Coins credited for that purchase are removed from your Balance.
• Where Coins that have already been spent are removed, your Balance may become negative. A negative Balance is not a debt payable in cash, but any Coins you subsequently earn will first be used to bring the Balance back to zero before they become available to spend.
• HiLibre may reverse, cancel, or adjust any Coins that were credited in error, as a result of a technical fault, or in breach of these Program Terms.

7. LIMITS AND EXPIRY

• Maximum Balance. An Account may hold a maximum Balance of 1,000 Coins. Coins that would take the Balance above this limit are forfeited and will not be credited later.
• Inactivity. All Coins on an Account expire and are forfeited if the Account has been inactive for twelve (12) consecutive months. An Account is inactive when there has been no paid purchase, no sign-in, and no Coin credit or debit during that period.
• Campaign expiry. Coins granted under a specific campaign may carry an earlier expiry date stated in that campaign’s conditions.
• Account closure. All Coins are forfeited immediately and without compensation when an Account is deleted or closed, whether by you or by HiLibre.
• Program end. If HiLibre discontinues the Program, unspent Coins expire on the date stated in our notice, which will be at least thirty (30) days after the notice is given by reasonable means.

Expired or forfeited Coins are not reinstated and cannot be claimed.

8. PROHIBITED CONDUCT, FORFEITURE AND SUSPENSION

HiLibre may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, cancel some or all Coins, suspend or terminate your participation in the Program, refuse future grants, and take any other action permitted under the Terms of Service if it reasonably believes that you have:

• obtained or attempted to obtain Coins through fraud, misrepresentation, abuse, automation, or exploitation of an error;
• created or used multiple Accounts, or acted in concert with others, to circumvent Program limits;
• initiated a chargeback or payment dispute on an order in which Coins were earned or spent;
• breached these Program Terms, the Terms of Service, or applicable law; or
• used the Program in a manner inconsistent with its purpose as a personal, non-commercial benefit.

Forfeited Coins will not be reinstated. HiLibre’s decision on any matter relating to the Program is final.

9. CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM

HiLibre may amend these Program Terms, change the value, earning rules, spending rules, caps, or expiry of Coins, add or remove ways of earning Coins, or suspend or discontinue the Program in whole or in part at any time. We will give notice of material changes by reasonable means (for example by email or by posting the updated Program Terms on our website). Your continued participation in the Program after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of that change. Changes may apply to Coins already held.

10. TAXES

You are solely responsible for any taxes, duties, or reporting obligations that may arise from your participation in the Program or from receiving or using Coins.

11. DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HILIBRE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING ITS AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. HILIBRE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY COINS THAT ARE LOST, EXPIRED, FORFEITED, OR NOT CREDITED, INCLUDING WHERE THIS RESULTS FROM A TECHNICAL FAULT, A DELAY, AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS NOT LINKED OR SIGNED IN, OR UNAUTHORISED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HILIBRE’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PROGRAM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE US-DOLLAR DISCOUNT VALUE OF THE COINS DIRECTLY AT ISSUE, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL HILIBRE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THESE PROGRAM TERMS LIMITS ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

12. GENERAL

Relationship to the Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between these Program Terms and the Terms of Service, these Program Terms prevail with respect to the Program only.

Governing law and disputes. These Program Terms are governed by the same law and subject to the same dispute-resolution provisions as the Terms of Service.

Severability. If any provision of these Program Terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

No waiver. HiLibre’s failure to enforce any provision does not waive its right to do so later.

Prevailing language. The English language version of these Program Terms is the original, governing instrument.
